At Courageous Thriving, I believe that healing is not simply about surviving life’s hardships—it’s about creating the conditions to thrive. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and Marine Corps veteran, I bring both professional expertise and a deep appreciation for the courage and resilience required to navigate life’s most difficult challenges.
My practice is dedicated to helping individuals and couples who feel stuck, disconnected, overwhelmed, or weighed down by the effects of trauma. Whether you are struggling with painful life experiences, relationship difficulties, anxiety, self-doubt, or a sense that you’ve lost connection with yourself or others, therapy can provide a path toward healing, growth, and renewed purpose.
At Courageous Thriving, my mission is to help individuals, couples, and families move beyond surviving life’s challenges and into a more connected, meaningful, and fulfilling way of living. I provide, compassionate, evidence-based online therapy that supports clients in healing from trauma, strengthening relationships, and reconnecting with themselves and others. Through a collaborative and grounded therapeutic relationship, I help clients cultivate emotional awareness, resilience, and the courage to face life with greater clarity and authenticity.
My vision is a world where people no longer feel defined by their pain or past experiences, but instead feel empowered to grow through them. I believe that when individuals and couples are given the space, safety, and support to explore their inner world, they can develop the courage to thrive—building lives marked by connection, purpose, and emotional well-being. Courageous Thriving exists to support that transformation, one person and one relationship at a time.
Picking a therapist is a big decision, and it’s normal to want to know who you’re trusting with your story. Here’s what makes working with me a little different, and why clients keep coming back.
Before I became a therapist, I served as a Marine. That experience gave me a real understanding of what it takes to face fear and uncertainty, and it shapes how I support every person I work with.
You do not need to have the perfect words or a polished story to get started. I create a space where clients feel heard, respected, and never judged for whatever they are going through.
Therapy works best when it feels like a partnership. I work alongside each client at a pace that feels right for them, so healing feels guided but never rushed, and progress feels like it truly belongs to them.
I was stuck for a long time and honestly did not think therapy would do much for me. But working with Courageous Thriving actually shifted something. After a few sessions, I started seeing things from a different angle. I am not all the way there yet, but I finally feel more confident and a lot calmer than I used to.
